Aquest repositori, adreçat a tots els agents de l'àmbit de la recerca i la innovació que treballen i impulsen l'emprenedoria dels estudiants i titulats universitaris, siguin graduats, màsters o doctorands, us ofereix informació sobre les diferents iniciatives i programes de suport a l'emprenedoria disponibles.

El sector de la ciberseguretat és un element cada vegada més fonamental per a les empreses que tenen presència i activitat a escala digital, ja sigui a través d’internet com en la gestió de dades i processos interns de la pròpia companyia. A Catalunya ja hi ha 557 empreses que desenvolupen el seu model de negoci en aquest sector, xifra que representa un creixement del 7,9% respecte l'any 2024.

L’edició de 2024 se centra en els indicadors clau de l’economia blava: el talent, l’ocupació, els agents econòmics i el volum de negoci, el paper del Port de Barcelona com a actor clau, el turisme, la força del coneixement, la recerca i la formació, i els grans esdeveniments blaus, que són elements crucials de la projecció internacional de Barcelona. En resum, els indicadors recullen la gran diversitat i complementarietat d’infraestructures blaves i serveis que projecten la ciutat cap a un futur més blau.

This literature review provides short summaries of recent scientific articles discussing the challenges of designing public policy for startups. In the 2024-2029 political priorities, startups were identified as a crucial element for European competitiveness. This growing interest aims to upgrade a longstanding commitment in a period of growing uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. Public policies for startups aim to address complex challenges, from Entrepreneurship and technologies, to kills, financing, and location. This review of recently published scientific publications aims to contribute to the newly setup EU Task Force for Startup and Scaleup.

Research and innovation (R&I) is a key driver of competitiveness. R&I spurs productivity increases, economic growth and, ultimately, enhances well-being, as the Draghi and Letta reports recently highlighted. Now more than ever, R&I will shape Europe’s future. Maintaining Europe’s capacity to come up with new ideas, bold research and innovations, and translating them into products and services will boost Europe’s competitiveness.

Horizon Europe is the EU’s ninth research and innovation (R&I) funding programme. Set up by Regulation (EU) 2021/6959, it covers the period 2021-2027 and has a budget of EUR 93.5 billion10. The objective of the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe is to analyse the programme’s design, implementation and first results. It is published 4 years after the start of the implementation. It covers all instruments, in every scientific field supported. This evaluation will support the implementation of current EU R&I measures and the design of future measures. It fulfils the Commission’s legal obligation to explain how it has spent public funds.

This document provides definitions of research and development (R&D) from U.S. and international sources and by performing sector. By providing this resource, the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics within the U.S. National Science Foundation aims to facilitate a better understanding of R&D reporting requirements and improve the quality of R&D data. R&D definitions are provided unedited as they appear in their original sources.

El informe analiza la adopción de IA tanto en empresas como en la ciudadanía. En el ámbito empresarial, el informe revela un crecimiento significativo en el uso de tecnologías de IA, al alcanzar al 11,4% de las empresas con 10 o más personas empleadas en 2024.

Agile governance seeks to embed adaptivity, responsiveness and flexibility into traditional governance approaches to help technology for responsible innovation. To support more agile approaches to regulating technology, this policy paper builds a conceptual model mapping the innovation process against the policy cycle. Next, the report presents a typology of kinds of mechanisms useful in promoting agile regulation and develops a discussion of those mechanisms through examples. These examples, in turn, support insights on how agile regulation mechanisms can be used at different stages of policy and technology development. The report underscores how governance and technology co-evolve and how their interactions need to be enhanced to deliver responsible innovation.

The current wave of innovation is reshaping the world at an unprecedented pace, with venture capital surging and new technologies rapidly reaching the market. Yet, amid the excitement, not all breakthroughs deliver meaningful societal value. Many risk amplifying inequality, misinformation or ecological harm. This presents a critical opportunity to reframe innovation through a responsible, inclusive lens.
