Aquest repositori, adreçat a tots els agents de l'àmbit de la recerca i la innovació que treballen i impulsen l'emprenedoria dels estudiants i titulats universitaris, siguin graduats, màsters o doctorands, us ofereix informació sobre les diferents iniciatives i programes de suport a l'emprenedoria disponibles.

Aquest monogràfic forma part d’una sèrie de diferents documents que avaluen l’impacte de les propostes finançades en el marc del PERIS 2016-2020. S’avalua l’impacte de la recerca finançada en la convocatòria de projectes en l’àmbit d’atenció primària SLT002 on es van atorgar dos milions d’euros a 24 projectes de recerca amb un finançament per a tres anys.

The Partnership Stakeholder Forum “20 years of European Partnerships: Reflecting on the past – Shaping the Future” brought together the whole community of Co-funded, Co-programmed and Institutionalised Partnership stakeholders. The Forum 2024 highlighted the achievements of the European Partnerships, while also addressing important challenges and strategic discussions on the way to the 10th Framework Programme. ERA-LEARN supports research funding organisations, policy makers and researchers with general information and services on research and innovation partnership initiatives.

This report presents the findings of the Commission Expert Group on Technology Infrastructures (EGTI), established in November 2023 to analyse, support, and provide recommendations for improving technology infrastructures (TIs) in Europe. The group explored critical topics such as the definition of TIs, assessing industrial needs, and addressing barriers to access for industry, SMEs and start-ups. With a focus on enhancing European strategic value chains and industrial competitiveness, this report offers actionable recommendations for TI governance and investment prioritisation at the EU and national levels. The report also addresses the need for developing funding instruments for building-up TI capacities to align with evolving industrial requirements.

User needs for technology infrastructures - Analytical report

This literature review provides short summaries of recent scientific articles discussing the challenges of 'greening research'. While science has played a fundamental role in understanding climate change, today's most pressing societal challenge, research organisations and activities are also called to 'greening' themselves, reducing their environmental footprint and promoting more sustainable practices. This multifaceted challenge is addressed by an emerging literature identifying the carbon footprint of university campuses and research infrastructure, discussing the main challenges such as research-related travelling. This review aims to discuss the emerging practices contributing to promoting environmental sustainability for research activities.

Detecting emerging technologies is crucial for policymaking as it helps to anticipate future trends and address their potential societal, economic, and security impacts. Early identification also allows policymakers to support strategic industries, orient research and innovation, and guide regulation to ensure competitiveness. The present report presents a comprehensive analysis of 221 weak signals in technology development, distributed in twelve clusters, which were detected over the course of 2024. These signals were spotted using text mining, clustering techniques and scientometric indicators applied to peer-reviewed scientific publications (Scopus) and patent documents (Patstat).

Synthetic biology promises to revolutionise a swath of industrial activities and create new ones by tailoring living systems to produce a range of products to boost economies, transform health and contribute to solving grand societal challenges. In 2023 and 2024, over sixty experts from around the globe came together regularly to explore where synthetic biology will have the most impact, identify the challenges and opportunities in developing and deploying synthetic biology around the world, and to explore areas where policy could help. This working paper provides a synthesis of this scoping activity, providing an accessible text for those new to the rapidly evolving area of synthetic biology.
