Durant l’actual crisi internacional que vivim amb la pandèmia del Covid-19 us donem accés a un complet butlletí amb un recull d’informacions i recursos que us aporta una completa i actualitzada visió de l’estat de la recerca i l’evolució constant de la pandèmia.

La Central de Resultats de Recerca en salut de l’àmbit dels centres i instituts de recerca se centra en els centres/instituts participats per la Generalitat de Catalunya (Departament de Salut i Departament d’Economia i Coneixement) i actualment es presenten dades de recerca en ciències de la salut dels anys 2016 i 2017 en relació amb els recursos, la transferència i la producció i eficiència. Es faciliten les dades nominals d’11 instituts d’investigació sanitària associats a un hospital o a un centre associat a l’atenció primària, i de 8 centres de recerca biomèdica no associats a centres sanitaris.

In 2020, the Global Innovation Index (GII) presents its 13th edition dedicated to the theme Who Will Finance Innovation? This edition sheds light on the state of innovation financing by investigating the evolution of financing mechanisms for entrepreneurs and other innovators, and by pointing to progress and remaining challenges—including in the context of the economic slowdown induced by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis.

Horizon Europe, the ninth European Research and Innovation Framework programme (2021-2027), is the key instrument of the Union for supporting research and innovation. It also plays an important role in steering and accelerating Europe’s recovery, preparedness and resilience along the twin digital and green transitions. The first Horizon Europe Strategic Plan will define the strategic orientations for our research and innovation investments over the period 2021-2024.
 This survey is part of the strategic planning process, to which the European Parliament, EU Member States, Countries of the European Economic Area (EEA Countries), as well as stakeholders and interested citizens, contribute collectively.

ERC Starting Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are starting their own independent research team or programme. Applicant Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground-breaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal.

L'Estadística sobre innovació a les empreses proporciona informació sobre el procés d'innovació a les empreses, tant tecnològica com no tecnològica, a partir d'indicadors que permeten conèixer aquest procés (impacte econòmic, tipus d'activitats innovadores, costos, etc.). Es presenten resultats per quantificar les empreses innovadores, així com la despesa en innovació i la seva distribució segons les diferents activitats per a la innovació tecnològica, o bé la intensitat d'innovació o el finançament públic d'aquesta, entre d'altres.

The Pilot Project “Science meets Parliaments/Science meets Regions” (2018-2020) was endorsed by the European Parliament and implemented by the JRC, in close consultation with the Committee of the Regions. It aimed to spread a culture of evidence-informed policymaking (EIPM) throughout the EU, giving full ownership to the Member States, regions and cities involved, and focusing on policy topics of concern to the organising entities. Moreover, studies were financed to support the processes set in motion by the events, and training courses on EIPM for policymakers were provided. This report provides an overview of the main activities implemented as well as the lessons learnt and the results of the evaluation exercise. 

This report presents new evidence on the impact of R&D tax incentives and direct funding of business R&D, drawing on distributed cross-country and firm-level analyses undertaken as part of the first phase of the OECD microBeRD project (2016-19). This “distributed” approach facilitates a harmonised analysis of confidential business R&D and tax relief microdata in 20 OECD countries. microBeRD provides new insights into the effectiveness of R&D tax incentives in encouraging business R&D in the OECD area and the heterogeneity of effects both within and across OECD countries, including the underlying impact mechanisms. The report contributes to the debate on the role of R&D tax incentives in the policy mix by providing additional comparative evidence on the effects of alternative business R&D inducement incentives.
